Short-term joint staff training events
The 1st Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event aims to mobilise a total of 17 staff members for the full 3 days programme. This will take place after completion of first part of O1- Elderly care worker new job profile and competences tool and will be hosted by CUT – Cyprus University of Technology, in Cyprus.
The main goals of this activity are to train partners’ staff on how to use the profile and the tool for elderly care workers and to collect feedback and contributions for any improvement, as well as recommendations for the user manual. It seeks to get a deeper explanation of the intellectual output and all its features and resources, so the project partners can better implement it on their countries. The 2nd Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event aims to mobilise a total of 17 staff members for the full 3 days programme. This will take place after the setup of curricula and training programme and will be hosted by OMNIA, in Finland.
The main goals of this activity are to train partners’ staff on EQVET framework, on how to introduce it in the B-learning Course for Elderly Care Workers and how to further use EQVET in their organisations. This training will also cover partial conjoint work between partners on the creation of training and learning materials and training about the use of the Learning Management Platform. The 3rd Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event aims to mobilise a total of 15 staff members for the full 3 days programme. This will take place after the definition of the structure of the good practices guide and will be hosted by Association Habilitas, in Romania.

Multiplier Events
Launching seminars
The purpose of the Launching Seminars is to present the <<Elderly care worker new job profile and competences tool>> and to persuade stakeholders to participate in the pilots of the training course by presenting the main training scheme proposed for elderly care workers. It will serve as an opportunity for engagement with external stakeholders and for instigate the outputs’ future adoption.
The target groups are: elderly care and VET providers, certified training bodies, national federations and associations of elderly care providers, national bodies associated with VET, policy makers in the field of VET for awareness and lobby in embedding the outputs into national VET systems. National workshops
The national workshop is a multiplier event which aims to provide information on the outputs developed and promote participants’ ability to take and implement the outputs on their own contexts. The multiplier event will be a workshop session to introduce participants to all outputs created and what they can take from them.
The target groups are: learners, trainers and organisations taken part in the pilot phase; elderly care and VET providers, certified training bodies, national federations and associations of elderly care providers, national bodies associated with VET, policy makers in the field of VET for awareness and lobby in embedding the outputs into national VET systems.
